Kent City Public Schools
The new Kent City Middle School was constructed on the site of an old bus garage and bus parking area south of the existing high school. The building is 100,000 sf on two levels and features a full service kitchen and cafeteria, a gymnasium with an inside walking track and locker rooms. A new retaining wall and Plaza were constructed south of the high school due to grade changes. In addition to general classrooms, the school has three fully equipped science rooms, an art room, a home economics room, music rooms, a large media center and two computer labs.
CD Barnes also renovated the Clover Street Building from an elementary school to new administrative offices for the school district.
Creating world-class educational environments and investing in our communities futures is a core value for CD Barnes.
